In the heart of Sindhiapura village, nestled just 8 kilometers from Dabhoi, a transformative initiative has taken root. Here, amidst the rustic charm and serene landscapes, a beacon of hope shines brightly for underprivileged tribal women. In a collaborative effort between the Dabhoi community foundation and the Rotary Club Baroda Metro, sewing classes have emerged as a catalyst for change. With determination and resilience, these economically backward women have embraced the opportunity to acquire valuable skills, empowering themselves to break barriers and redefine their roles in society. The sewing classes, launched on April 8th, 2024, have quickly become a hub of enthusiasm and inspiration. Supported by the unwavering solidarity of the villagers, the initial cohort of 35 women embarks on a journey of self-reliance and empowerment. Through their dedication and the collective spirit of the community, these women are not only stitching fabrics but also weaving a brighter future for themselves and generations to come.
