Annual Evaluation and Bag Distribution Program for Adolescent Girls

On April 23, 2025, a special Kishori Sammelan (Adolescent Girls' Gathering) was organized, bringing together 60 adolescent girls from the community.

The program began with an interactive session led by Zahra Ben from the Sahiyar Group. Ben engaged the girls in a reflective discussion about the 16 sessions conducted over the past two years. The girls actively participated, responding enthusiastically and sharing their insights.

Following this, the Sahiyar team evaluated a written assessment. The facilitators brought the question papers, which consisted of simple “Yes” or “No” answers. Every participant eagerly took part in the assessment, showcasing their understanding and learnings from the sessions.

The program concluded with a bag distribution ceremony, where each girl received a school bag as a token of encouragement and support for their educational journey. A light refreshment was served at the end, bringing a joyful close to the event.

This event not only celebrated the journey of these young girls but also reinforced the importance of continued learning and community engagement.
